With a network of over 4,200 stores in 29 countries, Deichmann is a global player with of over 43,000 employees. In order to recruit new employees and trainees for a wide range of professions and to retain and develop existing colleagues, a comprehensive 360° employer branding strategy was needed. It needed to go beyond the love for shoes.

A wide range of measures and campaigns have been developed to support throughout the entire career path of employees. Starting with onboarding campaigns, social media communication for trainees and part-time employee campaigns, through to training brochures. In the process, numerous videos, competitions, flyers, posters, presentations, brochures and creative ideas beyond mainstream media were created. This made it possible to attract any target group at any career level to the company.

The Deichmannkarriere claim calls on trainees and new employees to get involved. This claim is also used across all social media channels. As part of our social media guideline, internal storytelling, seasonal promotions and competitions are the primary focus of these channels. In addition to digital, the company's philosophy is communicated to new employees via various print media and giveaways.
